RSS Readers - Who’s First?

Great piece over on Quick Online Tips discussing the popularity of certain feedreaders. According to a recent Hitwise Study Bloglines came in first in terms of usage of online feedreaders followed by Rojo.
Personally, I’m a big Google Reader fan. I appreciate its ease of use and its integration with my other Google products. However, according to Hitwise’s analysis Google reader is growing but only maintains 1/13 the market share of visits by Bloglines.
With the inclusion of an RSS reader in Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2, it’s reasonable to expect RSS to take off with the everday web user. In the meantime, Bloglines must take advantage of its lead and continue to improve its product through innovation and marketing–if it hopes to hold off the Googles, Yahoos and Microsofts of the world.
