CNNMoney.com Fails to Impress

It’s funny when you head over to CNNMoney.com, there’s a big curtain raise on the screen announcing the re-launch of the web site.

However, when you take the tour of the new features, the appearance reflects nothing new and highlights features that are fairly common to other business sites.

I will say the site does a nice job of leveraging the content of it’s strong business brands, Fortune, Money Magazine and Business 2.0. On a daily basis the site combines stories from all three including a nice team of bloggers in a seemless readable fashion.

So What? Overall, Time Warner has a great brand and has nicely rolled up its strong lineup of print publications into one site, but as far as showing users something “new”, the site still has a ways to go.
