The latest edition of Business 2.0 dubs 13 investors as Tech’s New Kingmakers. According to the magazine these are the influential investors that every web 2.0 entrepreneur needs to know.
They are:
1. Reid Hoffman, LinkedIn
2. Jeff Clavier, SoftTech VC
3. David Hornik, August Capital
4. Brad Burnham, Union Square Ventures
5. Fred Wilson, Union Square Ventures
6. Ram Shriram, Sherpalo
7. Ron Conway, Angel Investors
8. Michael Moritz, Sequoia Capital
9. James Slavet, Greylock Partners
10. David Sze, Greylock Partners
11. Peter Thiel, The Founders Fund
12. Josh Kopelman, First Round Capital
13. Danny Rimer, Index Ventures
You’ll also notice that many of these names also appear on The Midas List, Forbes list of top tech dealmakers.
I guess this is list as good as any if you’re looking for venture funding.
