Pageflakes Rolls with Video Widgets

Great post over on The Next Net about Pageflakes’ release of video widgets for users’ personal startpage.
As the piece points out,
Pageflakes is a personal startpage that lets you create your own widgets and arrange them on a page. This week it is launching new video widgets from Google Video, Revver, Metacafe, and others (here is a gallery), in addition to the YouTube video widget it already had before. That means you can get videos from multiple sites on one page.
So What?As a big fan of RSS and hence, all things customizable to the user, I think this is a great step in the direction of giving users access and, more importantly, more control of the content they wish to access most frequently.
Rock on Pageflakes.
