What’s Next for the Mobile?

Yep, TV. And it’s coming fast.
As Michal Lev-Ram of the Third Screen Blog shares, it’s already here. This week, Verizon Wireless officially launched its live television service, called V Cast Mobile TV in 20 markets, including Tucson, New Orleans, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Portland, Dallas-Fort Worth and Omaha.
Meanwhile, Businessweek has a cool slideshow depicting the services and devices that will provide users with this functionality.
So What? I’m curious to see how this content looks and functions, but if the Video iPod or the SlingPlayer Mobile (which I’ve seen on a friend’s Motorola Q and was completely awesome) are any indication, then mobile TV is going to be the must have technology of 2007 and 2008.
