Digital Phocus Adds Comments Feed

Well, I guess I technically didn’t add the comments feed but I did improve it significantly. While I’ve always had a comments feed, I didn’t watch and couldn’t track the number of subscriptions. Therefore, I’ve gone ahead and run my Comments RSS Feed through Feedburner. Hopefully, this will give me more tracking of the comment subscribers I do get.

Also, thanks to Everton for his post about adding RSS comments feeds to the list of feeds that are displayed when a user clicks on an RSS link within a browser.

Check it out above by tapping the RSS button in your browser.

I haven’t added the Show Top Commentators Plugin yet, but that’s coming.

The improvements keep coming, feel free to comment by leaving your favorites below.

    Hey Brendan,

Great timing - Everton’s post inspired me to add a comments feed to our blog as well, and I actually got to it today myself - then saw your post this evening. :-)

Ours is named like Everton’s, with “Comments on” before the blog name.

BTW, the top commentators plugin is awesome - since we added that and the mybloglog avatars plugins, our comments have really increased.

    Have an awesome day!
    Dan

    Thanks Dan.

Glad to hear I’m not the only experimenting comments and their effectiveness in driving traffic to the site.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again!
