Google Buys FeedBurner

As previously discussed, Google was serious about Feedburner.
According to published reports, Google acquired the RSS analytics and advertising company for $100 million.
This is a huge win for both parties. It not only gives Google another tool to add to its growing analytics product, for site publishers, but it also provides another channel through which to distribute advertising. For Feedburner, well, it’s a nice payout plus it provides the resources of working with one of the smartest, most innovative web companies around.
Congrats to both companies.
