Ex-Cisco SVP to Join Joost as CEO

Per the Wall St. Journal, Michelangelo Volpi will join Joost as its CEO.
The former Cisco SVP of Routing and Service Provider Technology Group brings the Silicon Valley savvy along with the International Background (born in Italy, lived in Japan and attended Stanford) that the Joost team needs.

So What? Seems like a great fit. John Chambers won’t be leaving Cisco anytime soon so Volpi wasn’t going to get the top job and decided to leave. Joost needed a tech-savvy, deal conscious CEO to drive the company forward fast. Seems like a great match. Time will tell.
